Before we start digging into individual drug categories and classifications – it will be useful to memorize some things.

Column 1 – prefix or suffix
Column 2 – drug classification
Column 3 – Example Med
Column 4 – precautions / some side effects (these are general).
If you memorize these and come across a medication that you’ve never heard of, this may be able to help you figure it out.
